"IDF did more to safeguard the rights of civilians than any other army in the history of warfare"

We have seen the western powers supporting Richard Goldstone's racist pack of lies accusing the Israelis of "war crimes" in the attack on Gaza. The fact is that the Israeli action was a purely defencive counterattack against Hamas' continuous rocket attacks on Israeli civilians. Such rocket attacks, since they are aimed to kill civilians discriminating only on racial grounds are, by definition, acts of genocide. That they failed to kill many Israeli civilians is not Hamas' fault. Israel would gave been entitled, indeed duty bound, to act against them even if they hadn't been aimed at civilians just as the US government were entitled to act against the people who sent the 9/11 bombers even though they also attacked the Pentagon.

Anybody who disapproves of Israel's response either has to explain exactly what else Israel should have done to stop this genocide or shows themselves to be in favour of racial genocide of Jews. Clearly this latter includes many western politicians.

Goldstone has previous in lying to promote racial genocide & clearly knows his master's voice as well as Andrei Vyshinsky, prosecutor in Stalin's show trials did. Presumably this is why he was chosen.

According to the EU president "I think Mr Goldstone is a person of high credibility and high integrity and accordingly his report carries weight," Bildt told reporters in Stockholm. which shows what a disgusting pro-Nazi obscenity the EU is.

His integrity consists in having been chief prosecutor for the NATO funded Yugoslav "court" where he went to any lengths to protect our (ex-)Nazi friend & indeed the assorted EU politicians undeniably guilty, according the Nuremberg Trials precedent, of war crimes & genocide. His racist willingness to fit up any Serb came a cropper when he fitted up a fictional character from Serbian literature for rape in one of the non-existent "rape camps".
As in Gaza, those indictments were also allegedly based on “eyewitness testimony.”

Goldstone headed the Office of the Prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), established by the United Nations in 1993. In 1995, one year into his term as chief ICTY prosecutor, Goldstone presented an indictment of several Serbs for war crimes and crimes against humanity... among those indicted was a man identified as “Gruban”.

Gruban, later identified more fully as Gruban from Bijelo Polje, was charged with viciously raping Muslim prisoners in what was identified by the prosecution as essentially a Serbian concentration camp. His crimes were given weight by an anonymous individual identified only as “Witness F”, who claimed to have suffered at the hands of the notorious war criminal. As described by Makor Rishon, “Within just a few months, the black silhouette of ‘Gruban’ was plastered on a poster of the most wanted war criminals in Bosnia.”

(…)The problem for NATO forces in tracking down the serial rapist was that Gruban from Bijelo Polje, also known as Gruban Malic, is a fictional character from Hero on a Donkey, a famous Serbian novel about World War II by Miodrag Bulatovic
Clearly had he posessed the remotest degree of integrity or been in any way whatsoever interested in evidence this would not have happened. It is the equivalent of the British police issuing an arrest warrant against Vlad Dracul on a charge of assisting Tony Blair & the British cabinet in blood drinking orgies - something which they have not done (& to be fair something the cabinet probably haven't done personally even though they are all genocidal organlegging child rapist).

Obviously our MSM gave been silent on Goldston'e corruption & pretended he is a person of integrity.

One of the interesting things about the Yugoslav wars was that western soldiers showed much more integrity than the politicians. Far from the image of soldiers being eager to stir up a fight & politicians & journalists being peacemakers many senior officers repeatedly, presumably at risk to their careers, publicly stated that the worst excesses were on "our" side. Obviously the journalists decided to censor this. Once again we see a British officer telling the truth about The Gaza war
I am the former commander of the British forces in Afghanistan. I served with NATO and the United Nations; commanded troops in Northern Ireland,
Bosnia and Macedonia; and participated in the Gulf War. I spent considerable
time in Iraq since the 2003 invasion, and worked on international terrorism
for the UK government's Joint Intelligence Committee.

Mr. President, based on my knowledge and experience, I can say this: During
Operation Cast Lead, the Israeli Defense Forces did more to safeguard the
rights of civilians in a combat zone than any other army in the history of
warfare.

Israel did so while facing an enemy that deliberately positioned its
military capability behind the human shield of the civilian population.

...The IDF faces a challenge that we British do not have to face to the same
extent. It is the automatic, Pavlovian presumption by many in the
international media, and international human rights groups, that the IDF are
in the wrong, that they are abusing human rights.

The truth is that the IDF took extraordinary measures to give Gaza civilians
notice of targeted areas, dropping over 2 million leaflets, and making over
100,000 phone calls. Many missions that could have taken out Hamas military
capability were aborted to prevent civilian casualties. During the conflict,
the IDF allowed huge amounts of humanitarian aid into Gaza. To deliver aid
virtually into your enemy's hands is, to the military tactician, normally
quite unthinkable. But the IDF took on those risks.

...More than anything, the civilian casualties were a consequence of Hamas's
way of fighting. Hamas deliberately tried to sacrifice their own civilians.

Mr. President, Israel had no choice apart from defending its people, to stop
Hamas from attacking them with rockets.

And I say this again: The IDF did more to safeguard the rights of civilians
in a combat zone than any other army in the history of warfare.

Col. Richard Kemp

Obviously newspapers which report Goldstone (14,329) but do not report Kemp(1) are wholly corrupt racist instruments willing to tell any lie & censor any fact to help the western Nazi powers.

Israel has spent many years offering land for peace but such a deal requires that the peace actually be on offer & that signatories, particularly including western guarantors, will stand by it. In supporting this Obama & the EU have overplayed their hand by proving that there are no circumstances under which their word can be trusted. They have therefore proven that their word to Israel is as wholly untrustworthy as their word to "respect the territorial integrity" of Yugoslavia. Col Kemp is clearly correct - if Israel did not have thousands of times more respect for human rights than any NATO power they would have ethnically cleansed Palestine as we did Krajina & Kosovo. Palestine could have been a successful & wealthy nation long ago had the western powers in collusion with oil rich Arabs not ensured that the path to Palestinian leadership lay through their funding of terrorists who have no interest in peace or even in the wellbeing of Palestinians.

Yup, I'd broadly agree with that, but the likes of you and me tend to sympathise with Israel (to the extent we're bothered, and I'm not that bothered, TBH), so we would say that, wouldn't we? That the EU and UN are beyond a joke is well known as well.

It bothers me less than Yugoslavia because our government is not criminally involved & because they are still winning. Israel has been an enormously inventive & progressive nation which may explain why what passes for socialists these days hate them.

Hi Neil Craig,

New judgement has been issued against Milorad Trbic holding him responsible for the Srebrenica genocide in which, according to the Jewish judge Theodor Meron, forty thousand (40,000) Bosnian Muslims had been targeted for extinction.

For a little history of Israel and Palestine go to http://www.masada2000.org/

While I do not agree with all they say their history is excellent and something that is covered up by the socialist governments of the west.
